PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT CAMPAIGNS
Dear PSA Director,
During the COVID-19 pandemic and civil racial unrest in America, the nonprofit 100 Roses From Concrete created the G.R.O.W.T.H. Initiative in the spring of 2020. Through the G.R.O.W.T.H. (Giving Real Opportunity With Talent and Heart) Initiative, the organization has made a once-in-a-lifetime virtual advertising experience for multicultural college students nationwide. Below you will find the latest work for amazing nonprofits by G.R.O.W.T.H. Initiative fellows for your consideration to add to your programming.
Building Beats: I Was Built Here
Building Beats was founded in 2013. They have developed and expanded DJ and digital music production programs, instilling entrepreneurship, leadership, and life skills in New York City’s low-income and minority youth. To date, Building Beats has taught over 2,000 in-school and after-school production workshops through the Bronx and Manhattan school districts.
This PSA highlights the brand's story and the success stories of students who found their developmental foundation at Building Beats. The tagline "I was Built Here" captures the narrative experience of past BB Leaders.
Children’s Rescue Fund: Journey from Streets to Stability
A homeless child without proper support becomes a homeless adult. The Children’s Rescue Fund provides multiple services and transitional housing throughout NYC to help families and their children transition to self-sufficiency and permanent housing for generations.
The “Journey from Streets to Stability” campaign highlights the various ways Children’s Rescue Fund’s services support children and their families on their journey.
From the Bronx to the Bronx
Northwest Bronx Community and Clergy Collations’ “From the Bronx to the Bronx” is not just a campaign; it is a pledge from the Bronx residents that they’re ready to fight for their home, by any means necessary. With the help of the NWBCCC and the CLT project, Bronxites are working toward being the only voice needed to determine the fate of the land in their community.
Hope will dispel any fears residents may have about the future. Hope for affordable housing, safe community hubs, new job opportunities, and more will become the defining characteristics of the Bronx. Bronxites will be united through this campaign.
